IT Trainer - HW Select

Head of Technical services for the Infrastructure and Service Desk team. You will be responsible for the Service Design, Service Transition and the service operation activities within the IT department including technical delivery and the provision of operational services.

he main responsibilities include; Service Design, Service Transition and service operation Fully recoverable against service recovery costs Support the Applications and Development team in ensuring an efficient and optimal service. To ensure continual service improvement activities. Lead Project Management initiatives Budgeting Roadmap To manage and set priorities for the design and maintenance of all infrastructure systems including LAN / WAN, Data centres, internet, wireless etc. Develop and implement policies Define Hardware and Software standards Testing Negotiating with Vendors, Outsources etc. Contract Management Leading the team responsible for the Service Desk, procurement and infrastructure.

Ideall you will be degree educated in Computer Science or have relevant experience. You will also be ITIL Certified to foundation Level and ideally have a combination of MCSE, CCNA, CCA or VCP certifications, SAN, CISCO infrastructure and datacentres. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience. The ideal candidate will ideally come from a Regulatory, Commercial, Charity or Public Sector environment. All sectors will be considered.
