UK & Ireland Channel Manager

This is an ideal career opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Channel Account Manager to work for a leading international vendor to grow the channel in the UK and Ireland. Your role will be to identify and assign key dealers and execute business plans with partners to increase commercial sales in the UK and Ireland, managing dealer and distributor sales and maintain, support and grow both existing and new customers including identifying and growing relevant vertical markets for the vendor's portfolio of products.



Your key responsibilities will be:
* To grow the existing clients' turnover according to the company's growth targets
* Complete channel segments with key distributors and dealers in each vertical market - Pro-AV, Home Theatre & Custom Install, Systems Integration and IT
* Implement actions to pursue new market opportunity
* Sign up and manager key accounts
* Negotiate pricing, customer rebates & bid pricing for projects approved by Sales Director
* Negotiate annual commercial contracts with distributors and dealers.
* Provide regular sales and product training to sales forces in distributors, dealers and key accounts.
* Planning & Forecasting, Database Management, Competitor activity
* Work with Marketing on promotions, events and lead activities

Salary to £50k p.a. with up to £10k bonus during first year + car allowance, mobile phone etc..,
Working primarily from home, there is a London office available but location is not important though preference would be given to someone living near good national transport links.

Yours skills, qualities and achievements

You will have a successful track record of sales & business development experience in the Pro-AV marketplace, ideally with Channel experience in UK, Ireland or Europe. You will have a strong network of contacts in the channel and understand multi channel management. You are a professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and a "can-do" attitude. You are self-motivated with effective time management skills. Experience of working on tenders and with local and national government opportunities is important.
